The joy of boys

You know you have boys when you catch yourself saying "Boys, stop talking about your wieners already."

You know you have boys when you are taking a bath and they barge in and proceed to take their pants down and pee on you in the tub while laughing hysterically.

You know you have boys when every passage of gas has a point value.

Welcome to my morning.

Life Quest

"And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words, which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your sons and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way and when you lie down and when you rise up."

Deuteronomy 6:5-7

Brothers

It's been a fun and busy summer. I have lots of pictures, and truthfully, I'm not sure when I'll get around to posting them. But as I was going through them I found a bunch of cute ones of the boys together. It has been delightful to watch their relationship develop. As with all siblings, they fight and argue and wrestle with each other. But overall, they love each other so much and are true playmates. Ethan likes to protect his brother and show him the ropes, so to speak. Hudson likes to imitate whatever Ethan does. I frequently hear "Eeetannnn......" echoes throughout the house. Such sweethearts they are.

Playing together in our "new" sandbox (or "the dirt" as Hudson would say)

Fell asleep on the couch together. Precious.

Adventures with mama at Semiahmoo. Isn't Baker in the background GORGEOUS?

Bees

Eric's latest hobby is bee-keeping. The boys enjoy it as well. I'm looking forward to the honey.

Autumn 2010

I know, I know. I am SOOO far behind in updating this blog. So, I'm playing catch up big time.

These are our annual autumn pictures we take in our leaf piles in the yard. The last three are at Hovander Park, my favorite place.
